The Ask: Revitalize the storied American footwear brand as it gained independence from Adidas.
The Solution: My team and I went back to the brand’s roots: classic, crisp, and most importantly comfortable. I came up with the tagline—Made for Movers—as well as its accompanying manifesto which served to inspire the Rockport team during their exciting moment of transition. When we started working with the brand, I was a seasoned senior writer but by the end I was an ACD directing campaign photoshoots and working closely with the client on creative development for both digital and in-store assets. It felt like the perfect marriage of my advertising skills and deep fashion knowledge.
